POTTY TRAINING
Tyler has decided he wants to wear no clothes so it is easier to go potty. I would be fine with this if he made it to the potty all of the time.
So it has been a battle of wills the last 2 weeks.
He undresses I redress him, he undresses I redress him. Some day he would spend all day in pull ups(he no longer likes diapers).
But there was a break through today. He undressed went potty and then tried to redress on his own!!!!
I think it was because he really like to wear any article of clothing with Thomas the Tank Engine on it. So I am thinking if I keep him Thomas clothes he will redress himself.
On the potty front he goes pee pee in the potty very well and will even tell me.
I think that is pretty good for a 2.5 yr old and no forcing by mommy or daddy. He is doing this on his own!

he is growing up so fast
That's great!! You definately have to let them do it when they are ready!! You can't pressure them!! Jack trained himself by the time he was 2 1/2 and Macy was done by then too.
Take him to the store and let him pick out his own new big boy pants! I also bought a tube of those plastic animals that you can get at AC Moore, whenever he did #2, he got to pick one out. Charts are a major help too, they love to put their own stickers on it!!
He's well on his way!! Now you really need to learn where every bathroom is in a 25 mile radius!!
yay for Tyler- keep up the good work!
Good luck......hope potty training goes quickly for you all!
Ahh....potty training...such a fun time. :)
aw! m&m's worked for us in ! weekend! LOL!
Good luck!!!
Congrats, how are things going? I echo what Rachael said, Katie loves to try out all the public bathrooms... yuck! Thankfully she just likes to look at them, and won't actually go!
Woo Hoo!!! Very exciting...I would rather have an older child in diapers than more laundry to clean...that is great that he is doing it all on his own...time to do the little happy dance!
