Beautiful day!

Today is Earth Day and it was a beautiful day here in the mid-atlantic! Mother Nature knocked herself out with the weather today! It was nice to leave the house without a coat! I worked today so I got to watch everyone having a great time outside from the office window. But that's okay I did meet so great people and had great conversations!

Here are two cards I worked on tonight. Thye thanks card is for my hostess of my Silpada party on Thursday and the birthday wishes is for Matt's birthday on Thursday.

This a layout of Tyler and the Easter Bunny. You have never guessed that right before this picture was taken this kid was having the world's biggiest toddler meltdown on the plant. As soon as he sat in front of the camera he turned on the smile.





This is another layout I did today because I was on a roll! I am hoping to get another one done tonight!

Blog Challenge

Okay over at Scrapgal they have blog challenges so I am going to give some a try. Today's challenge your to-do list. So here is mine:

1. Drop off Ty at Tracey's at 930. Done
2. BNI trainning 10am-1pm. Done
3. Pick up Ty before 130pm. Done

5. Clean the kitchen. Done

8. Clean up livingroom after Ty heads to bed.

10 is the first thing on my list tomorrow. I swear we live on an ant hill.

Page a day challenge

Over at scrapgal.com they are having a Page a Day Challenge. Here is the layout I did for the challenge.

Funny story about Tyler. I walked into his room yesterday to get him after his nap and I found him pantless, diaperless standing and peeing. Yes I walked in and my son was standing up in his tee shirt, socks and Robeez peeing between the crib bars. yesterday my son became a man. He found out he could stand and pee.

I did not get a picture of this but I have a cute picture of him look all like I do no wrong. so I am going to scrap the store to that picture.

If he is doing things like this at 14 months what is going to be doing at 3?

New Computer

I am posting from my new Apple Macbook! I love this computer! My old laptop was just that old. So I am hoping this one will last a while. matt is also in the market from a new computer. But he wants a PC.

I almost forgot Ty took his first two steps today. My Little Man is getting so big. Soon I will be chasing him around. I am hoping to get a few pictures of him walking with out holding on this weekend.

Tonight I had beauty night. I went and got my nails done and brows waxed.

Tomorrow I have work then I have so homes to visit for Welcome Neighbor. Then on Sunday I have work and then the snowrain mix is going to start. Well that's what they are talking about right now. I just want it to be spring for more then a day. Come on nice weather!!!!!

Scrappy projects

Here are a few picture's of Tyler from April 4th. It was back when we had spring temps out. He did not know what to make of the grass. I think once he know how fun the yard is, he wont be sitting still for long.

Happy Easter everyone!

I had to work today so Matt and Ty headed down to see Nana and Pop-pop at the beach. I headed over the hospital to see my dad after work. He seems to be doing okay. He had another stroke on Thursday.

I am hoping to post so really cute pictures of Ty with his new big boy hair cut. He had his first hair cut in Jan but this cut makes he look so much older. My little man is getting so big.

So as for this evening I have to myself. I am going to clean (oh, what fun) and then I am going to scrap. Then post so of the projects I have been working on.

I am such a bad blogger

It has been like 3 weeks since I blog last. But a lot has gone on is the past few weeks that I just have not had the time to blog.

Two weeks ago my dad had a seizure and hit his head. He is all better now but I did not have him go back to the nursing home. SO he is living with me. SO over the last two weeks I have setting up new doctor appointment's making appointment's and finding home health aid. I am happy to report most of that is done and we are doing well so far!

Also 2 weeks ago was me and Matt's 3rd wedding anniversary. Needless to say with everything that had gone on we did not get to celebrate. But tonight we are going to. We are going to go to one our favorite micro-brew restaurant's. We are also going to do a little shopping. My brother is going to baby sit for us. I am hoping to get a cute picture of me and Matt(I am hoping we dress up!). So look for a picture post tomorrow!

I have been one busy scrapper

I got scraapy this weekend! It feels so good to create things. I use my scrapping time as time to relax and let all the craziness of my life just slip away for a few hours. Another great part about scrapping is being able to share what I create with others and my kid(s) will have cool books to look at. I guess I should put them in so kind of order.

Monday- Storytime in the am and dinner at Friendly's to support our MOMS Club fund raiser for CF.

Tuesday- Playgroup/ Birthday party

Wednesday- Lunch with my cousin

Thursday- Mommy Mingel

Friday- Playzone then off to the flower show in Philadelpia

Then work the weekend


Crazy, Crazy week!

Happy March!!!!

Well it is March 3.........Time has been fling by.....But March has to be one of my favorite months. On the 20th Matt and I will be married 3 years. 3 yrs but it feels just like yesterday. I love my hubby!!!!! We got married on the 20th because it is the first day of spring and spring is my favorite time of year!!!!!!! I am going to try to post some wedding scrapbook pages this month.

Well what has been going on. This is the second weekend working at the park and so far it is going well. Monday night I am hoping to make a few Welcome Neighbor runs. I am also hoping to get out a mailing I have been working on for.


I talked to my best friend Dayna tonight and plans for her wedding are well under way. I am so happy for her and EJ. I can't wait to help her out and see what a beautiful wedding she puts together. She is my olds and dearst friend!

Ty had his first dinner date last night at 13 months. LOL. Matt and I watch one of the girls from Ty's playgroup. I got some really cute pictures of them going for a wagon ride and sitting and having dinner together. So cute!!!!! I can't wait to scrap them.

I am going to have to print so pictures this week. I got my kit today from The Scrapbook Society and it is great as always!!!!! So check it out www.scrapbooksociety.com. I can't wait to post what I have created!

Spring is around the corner!

Just because

I am posting just because.

We had such a crazy weekend.

Friday I went to work until 4 pm.

Saturday Ty had a birthday party. So cute Ty going to his first friend birthday party! Then I went home and packed.

Sunday we got up at the crack of early. Packed the car and drove for 5 1/2 hours to a town in western PA for a funeral for Matt's great aunt. We check in the hotel got changed then it was off to the funeral home. I meet a lot of Matt's family I had never meet b/c we had a really small wedding. Ty was the most well behaved baby.

Monday we got and were back on the road by 830 am. We finally made it home by 5pm. We did stop and see my dad. Who is doing great. He stood up for us!!!!!!He is doing so much better.

Yesterday we just hung out

Today we had a busy day. We had playgroup then we went and saw my dad. He eat all of his lunch and used the bathroom all on his own!!!!!! I know it may not seem like anything big but after all he has been through. Using the bathroom on his own is big. Especially since his insurance company said he reached a plateu. He didn't they just didn't want to pay for rehab anymore. I get so mad everytime I think about. He could be doing so much more if he was still in rehab. But he is making all this progress on his own. His own will. I know he will continue to move forward because a strong willed person and always gives his 110%. One day I am going to call and tell the insurance company how wrong they were.

Tonight I am going to try to scrap a little and attended chat night over at the Scrapbook Society. All the details are on the web site! It is always a good time! There is a great group of women on that site!

Another great site is Scrappers Bliss! More great ladies and more inspiration!

More Scrapbooking Layouts

This is the first time I tried out a 2 page layout. These are pictures from our day out with Thomas.

This layout I used Junkitz paperz. I love Tyler in this picture!

This layout is from the Junkitz Halloween line. Didn't he make the cuties cow!

This layout I used 3 bugs in a rug patteren paper. I love watching Tyler at play!

This layout I used SR patteren paper nad MM letters. Tyler was so good about getting his picture taken with Santa!

In this layout I used Basic Grey Blush line. We went to the W& W railroad to see santa and take a train ride.

I love creating scrap pages of my family. I love that I get to make these pretty pages and they will be around for years to come to share the memories.

Valentine's Day

Okay at the top picture is of the card I made for Matt from Tyler; the next picture is of the table I set for dinner last night; the next two pictures are of the altered band-aid tin and mini book I put inside the tin. I made the tin to tell Matt the top 10 reasons why I love him!!!!

Dinner was yummy too! I made a crockpot Roast with veggies. It is one of Matt's favorites. For dessert I made red velvet cupcakes with Hershey Kisses in the middle with white frosting. Yummy!

The best part is Tyler eat the veggies. Woohoo!!!!!! He is not a big veggie toddler.

Matt got me a nice card with coupon inside for house work. So cute! and He got me a big bag of my favorite candy.....Hershey Kisses!!!!!!!!

Pictures of Ty's first birthday

Ty have cake for the first.

He really liked haivng the cake. We had to take it away from him. To think his first bit he had a look of what is this. I also must confess I forgot his candle. Matt had to run to the store and buy a candle. I reallt thought I had very thing when I picked up the food at the store in the morning but no. When it can time for cake no candle. Thank goodnes we have a store right up the street.

Here is a picture of my dad and Ty. You can really see the love they have for each other. I think my dad looks great for a person that had a major heart attack, 6 bypasses and a mojor stroke all within a week. That was only 7 months ago. Ty is differently my dad's inspiration to get better. Ty is the reason he decided to go to the hospital when he was having his heart attack. Ty is diffenently the greatest gift to his grandpa.

The last picture is Ty's 1 yr picture I took of him. I can't believe how much he has changed over the past year. He was so tiny and how he is days away from walking. He is the greatest gift me and Matt share. He makes me smile on days when I think I can't because I have so much going on with my dad's medical stuff, bills all that fun stuff that goes with it. I enjoy everyday I spend with him. I am so lucky I can stay home with me and watch him grow everyday.

I am also going to use this picture for his birthday thank you cards.

It is snowing outside!

It is snowing out today.....so that means I am stuck in the house....boo...the car seat is in the car not in the SUV.....I am hoping to get some baking done......and work on some scrapping projects.....

My plans for Valentine's day are as followes banana nut bread and coffee for breakfast....lunch still unknown...But dinner is going to be a crock pot roast beef, cheese and crackers and red velvet cupcakes with kisses in the middle.....after Ty heads to bed we are going to watch a movie.......

I got some scrappin mojo going on this weekend

I am so happy with these 3 LO did last night after Ty went to bed. I was inspired by so challenges going on over at the Scrapbook Society (www.scrapbooksociety.com). I always find inspiration on that site. Plus I get to use my kit for the current month, insteas of it sitting over in the corner not being used. I love the monthly kits from that site. You get great products and a cool technique every month and the people on hte site are wonderful. We are like one big scrappin family.

I still feel this mojo going through my scrappy brain. So today I am hoping to work on 3 projects. If they come to light I will post them later.
